Returns & Exchanges Policy
At Maison Doxie, we take pride in the quality and fit of our high fashion for dachshunds. Please read our policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Change of Mind Policy
In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, Maison Doxie does not offer refunds for change of mind. This includes instances where a customer no longer wants the item, finds it cheaper elsewhere, or has simply changed their preference.
However, we want your dachshund to have the perfect fit. We offer exchanges or store credit (valid for 6 months) for non-faulty items, provided they meet our return criteria.
2. Return Conditions
To be eligible for an exchange or store credit, your item must meet the following strict criteria:
- Timeframe: The return must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.
- Original Condition: Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in the same condition as received.
- Original Packaging: All original tags must be attached and packaging must be intact. Items returned without original tags will be rejected.
- No Pet Hair/Odours: Due to hygiene reasons, items must be completely free of pet hair, dander, or any scents. We recommend trying the garment over a thin t-shirt or using a lint roller before returning.
Important: Items returned with visible pet hair or signs of wear will be sent back to the customer at their own expense, and the return request will be denied.
3. Faulty Items
If an item arrives with a genuine manufacturing fault, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under Australian Consumer Law. Please contact us at hello@maisondoxie.com within 7 days of receiving the item with your order number and clear photos of the fault.
4. How to Initiate a Return
- Email us at hello@maisondoxie.com with your order number and reason for the return.
- Once your request is approved, we will provide you with the return shipping address.
- The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer, except in cases of faulty goods. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
5. Non-returnable Items
- Sale and clearance items.
- Gift cards.
- Personalised or custom-made items.
